“Assistive Products for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.”
Johnny Gallagos, WCI
Guest speaker for March 11, 2010 is Johnny
Gallegos, from Weitbrecht Communications Incorporated (WCI) who will be
speaking on “Assistive Products for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.”
Johnny shares a most interesting and inspiring story of his journey on
becoming a “people person.” Mr. Gallegos is a recent graduate of
California State University-Northridge majoring in Deaf Studies with a
concentration in Sign Language Interpretation. Johnny recently
signed up with the Big Brother and Big Sister Organization to become a
mentor for a “little brother.” He says that he’s really excited for
this opportunity because “I have always wanted to do something, but
never had the time to do it.” Over the past two years, Johnny has been
connecting with his faith and was baptized as a Christian. He looks
forward to his first mission trip this summer. |
