The Long Beach/Lakewood Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America was formed in 1986 and has continued to the present.

The Chapter does not charge any dues.  You become a member of this Chapter simply by attending three meetings in a row.  However, a nominal donation is most  appreciated to help cover costs of publishing our newsletter, refreshments, and other incidentals.

This Chapter meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM at -

Membership in the National organization is encouraged.  Dues of $35 per year are charged which supports national efforts to improve the quality of life for hard of hearing people through education, advocacy, and self help.  Membership includes the national publication of "Hearing Loss", the journal of Hearing Loss Association of America.   See the NATIONAL HOMEPAGE  for the complete, detailed listing of benefits the organization has to offer.
